In 2016, as I navigated the whirlwind of work and early motherhood, I turned to the outdoors as a way to reconnect—with myself, my family, and the world around us. That’s when I launched @kinfolkadventure on Instagram, a space to capture my family’s outdoor excursions and instill a love for exploration in my two daughters. My hope was to ignite their sense of wonder and wanderlust while creating precious memories we could hold onto forever.

The name Kinfolk Adventure draws inspiration from Shakespeare’s timeless words: “One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.” I’ve always believed in the unifying power of nature and travel—how stepping away from the demands of daily life allows us to lower our walls, connect more deeply, and experience the world as one big family. Whether hiking through national parks or exploring new cities, I saw firsthand how these shared adventures brought us closer and created a sense of joy, belonging, and connection.

Over the years, while our love for adventure never faded, the Instagram account took a backseat. Yet, the vision of Kinfolk Adventure lingered in my heart, waiting for its moment to grow. Fast forward eight years, and that dream has blossomed into something much bigger—a bespoke travel service dedicated to helping busy people create meaningful, stress-free journeys with the people they love most.

Today, Kinfolk Adventure reflects the same values that inspired its beginning: fostering deep human connections, inspiring joyful exploration, and crafting enriching experiences that leave a lasting impact.
